The analysis of adolescent and unmarried young adult rural metropolitan migrants, carried out from 2000 2003, included survey interviews with over 800 Igbo talking rural metropolitan migrants in 2 Nigerian towns and cities, along with level unstructured interviews with 40 of those migrants. In addition, with the aid of a younger unmarried research associate, I completed many months of participant observation in metropolitan venues where young adults are utilized, where they’re going to college, where they look for activity, and where they tend to fulfill and socialize using their intimate lovers.
